Is there any specific reason you're not going for a standard scart connector in combination with the retrotink2x-scart?

Are the MSX RGB signals already 75ohm terminated?

No idea unfortunately as I don't have schematics. But I have taken many pics of it while cleaning it here (it's an AX370). BTW, feel free to enrich our wiki with these photos as I've seen people have been asking for them online.

Funtionally they're the same (line 2x only). Which leaves the convenience factor only. Rad2x is just a tiny chip connected directly to a plug matching the machine's RGB connector. Done. Whereas Retrotink2x-scart is a little bigger and needs USB power and the bulky-head SCART cable. I know it's not really a big deal even with Retrotink2x-scart, but if the rad2x works.. why not? :)

Heh.. Now I noticed that the TurbGrafx/PC Engine cable is even closer! It has the same 8 pin din at 270° as my MSX. Not sure if it adds the resistors/caps on RGB though. But seems like a simple rewire should bring the cable to MSX order...

I have noticed this on the page:

If you require a different pin assignment please advise when placing the order. If you are unsure about the pin assignment please consult the modifier of the console.

So you might request just MSX pinout and you don't have to reqire yourself, i guess...

And for sure, let us know if it works :)

Should become available soon. I'll request one and ask them to do the correct wiring from the get-go.. if they can't I can do it easily. Stay tuned!

I wonder if the HDMI output on these is DVI compatible as I have an old (but not MSX old) DELL LCD with no HDMI. It works fine with the OSSC if I switch it to DVI output. If you have the possibility to test on a DVI screen that would be nice!

It depends on to which dvi connector it needs to go. They're not all the same. dvi-d, the one you need, misses a few pins to avoid the user sticking an analog dvi signal in it.
