It's an Arduboy MSX cartridge. MSX joystick controls the Arduboy console, it is also connected to MSX by I2C for communication like accessing files etc.

Right now there is a voting going on for the Arduboy contest.
If you are interested, Have a look here.
Mine is the MSX cartridge obviously, but vote on the ones you think is good.
If you don't know what Arduboy is, it might be an opportunity to learn about it
It's a nice little games console based on Arduino, some games have relationship to msx games (like the games I showed in my videos above).
With the device I submitted for the contest, you'll be able to program Arduboy games that make use of msx features, or MSX game that make use of Arduboy, they are connected via I2C. And msx joystick directly controls arduboy button presses (can also be pressed programmatically).

A 3d game is also possible on the Arduboy.
I like the idea of playing games on the little oled screen on the cartridge, but there are other options as well. Like remove the screen, and replace with vga/composite out (may be feed that video back for machines with superimpose and mix with msx screen), or write the arduboy screen data in a memory buffer inside a cartridge (need another ram chip) and msx gets busy sending that to vram (even if this was possible, it would take up a lot of processing time just doing this).

Thank you. I received the normal Arduboy, but I already own the FX (the one with built in games), and the kick starter edition too.
