MegaFlashROM SCC+ & DSK2ROM troubles

Hello all,

I recently acquired a MegaFlashROM SCC+ and it's a great piece of hardware. However, I'm having a bit of trouble running games that I've converted using DSK2ROM. For instance, I converted Psycho World, and whenever I try to flash to it the FlashROM, it gets to about 95% done and then it throws up a "MSX-DOS error" (I'm using MSX-DOS1). The readme for DSK2ROM says that "Note that it is not wise to let the flash software patch the .rom image for you, because most of the .rom image is actually a data part, the flash software could wrongly patch this data, corrupting the image." What am I supposed to do instead of using OPFX.COM? I'm sorry if this sounds like a really n00bish question, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere.

OPFX will not patch that ROM. I tried and worked here.

I converted the DSK to ROM using:
dsk2rom -c 2 p-world.dsk p-world.rom

This makes a 524K ROM file.

Then flashed it using:
opfx p-world.rom /k5

If you get a MSX-DOS error try copying the files to another disk. Also that the generated ROM, OPFX, MSX-DOS files fit on the disk.

Sounds like a bug. THe patching: it means you shouldn't use /P options, for example.

Unfortunately, no dice. I converted the disk using the same name and options as the example. I ran OPFX forcing it to read the mapper as Konami SCC, like in the example. I still get the same error. I tried putting all the files on a brand new disk and I tried using both MSX-DOS 1.03 and 1.8, I tried using a different computer/PC drive. I'm using Disk-Manager to copy the files onto a formatted MSX disk. Nothing worked. This happens with every .dsk file I try to convert using DSK2ROM, not just Psycho World. I do appreciate the help given so far, and MegaFlashROM works great with standard ROM files.
