That unused MY connector has almost all needed signals. How about connector that fit into MY and that extension PCB?

Its true that the MY connector has almost al of the msx itst signals only, there are more msx compu's out there and if you would keep the pcb small and universal Like the one used in the upgrade then you have to make some compromises.
The original MSX Gouda extension didn't even include the "mapper" the 74ls04 and the 74ls30 chips. Thats why there layout is so small.

Warning: some software need the "Fm-Pac ROM" for detect the Msx-Music chip!

Thats only if the program is faulty, if programmed right the eprom is not used.
But the eprom is a 27128 and kan be put parralel on any eprom inside a msx exept for pins 1, 20, 22 and 27.
Pen 1 and 27 are connected to 5 volt and pen 20 to slot select(pen 4 from expensionslot) and 22 is sc1 (4000-3fff = pen 1 from expansion slot).
See also the scamatic from the gr8bit website.

I think that you can leave pin 1 & 27 not connected (only used for programming)

But if the IC is connected to pin 4 (/SLTSL) and pin 1 (CS1) on the Cartridgeslot, is that slot then still usable for all kind of cartridges ?
My guess is that CS1 is shared, but that the SLTSL needs to be a free SLTSL signal.
The NMS8250/55/80 have a free SLTSL 3.1 but how is this established in other MSX's

The reason why I'm asking is that I'm still looking for a solution to put the MSX-Music ROM into my FS-A1FX.
I still haven't found out where to connect pin20 (Chip Enable) of my Eprom to get it working.

The Eprom with MSX-Music is working, I have tested it in a cartridgeslot, but somehow I cant get it to work inside the machine.
