C2MAN should work on both dos1 and dos2. Try to use the special version of C2MAN or C2MAN40.

I have tried the special Korean/Arabic versions of both C2MAN and C2MAN40 now, with two different versions of MSX-DOS: 1.03 (COMMAND 2.2) and 1.8 (COMMAND 1.12). C2MAN always loads but outputs nothing; C2MAN40 hangs the system very quickly.

FWIW these were the two disk versions of DOS distributed with the MSX_TOSEC_2012_04_23 archive I got off archive.org.

I would like to add a gotek to my CPC 400 like you.
Could you tell me if you had to use a specific cable or a specific firmware to use your gotek ?

I've got my own CPC-400 thanks to Sander. I found out that C2MAN and other C2xx utilities have problems with this Daewoo computer - they crash or work incorrectly. I have created a ticket for this problem and I will make compatible utilities.

The initial investigation revealed that when BIOS call to 0x00CC is made, the stack gets corrupted and the control is returned to a different address in the program than needed. The reason is most likely buggy Hangul module or the machine's own BIOS. I will have to check what other BIOS calls screw up the flow and will fix this mess...

Looks like it's not a bug. When calling the BIOS in the expanded slot 0 on Daewoo 400(s) machines, the slot parameter must always have the expansion bit set, otherwise the call fails and returns control somewhere else (and causes software to malfunction). This will be fixed in the upcoming May release of Carnivore2 tools together with some other features.
