That’s a pretty cool passive adapter I think. After watching the video above, it seems interesting to play with that and to try and support it.
The passive MSX-SNES adapter he presents actually doesn’t seem entirely complete, since the DATA2 and PIO pins are not connected. Only DATA1 is used by standard controllers, but still there’s no reason not to connect the other two I think.
well, no need to use them if the joypad is used, however, I see potential with a modded version that includes the programmable I/O line, the supper scope seems like a cool addition
[not MSX qeustion] how do lightpens and lightguns react to Trinitron style CRT screens? also can SNES lightgun work with a monochrome black and white or black and amber display?
