I got myself a very beautiful Toshiba HX-34. It has a 20 pin connector for RGB and the equivalent plug seems to be RP13A-12PH-20SC(71) or RP13A-12PG-20SC(71), there is some info on the plug series in this document.

It is available for purchase here and here amongst others. The pinout is available on our forum.

The biggest problem seems to be now that to build an actual cable the wires need to be crimped onto the pins and I am looking for someone who could do that for me. I will gladly pay for parts and labour so I can enjoy this nice machine in crystal clear RGB. I have also a lot of MSX hardware from Japan I can offer in trade.

Most crimp pins can also be soldered.
If the connector is not very expensive, I would just buy one and test of that will work too...

Connector is not cheap but also not the end of the world. I will get one and have someone try it out (I have two left hands Wink). Thanks for the input.

I live in Tilburg, and can solder everything.
If it's close enough to your place, drop it off some time...
