Some time ago I encountered this soundtrack which appears to be vinyl. So this is fan-made?

Discogs. According to the info there, it's officially licensed.
(Konamie Kukeiha Club, ahem.. ;))
Bought it on amazon and has very nice artwork. There seem to be more versions out there. On youtube is a version of a green like vinyl, but mine is black.
According to the link provided by @Feiraco, there are indeed two versions, one with "camouflage" green vinyl and another with the usual black.
There are indeed two versions (black and green). It's made by Ship to shore media. There is a NES version as well. They have plenty more MSX related vinyl records like Life Force/Salamander, Contra, Gradius 1,2 & 3, Snatcher, etcetera. They are located in the US (New York) so shipping to Europe is quite expensive. Luckily, we have Black screen records in Germany. They have the same records and even more.
Sorry, Mondo made the Metal Gear soundtrack. All other records are available at Ship to shore or (amongst others) Black screen records. My bad...
Thanks for clearing it up everyone. Haha, funny, the NES artwork even shows the NES metal gear computer Man, did MSX get the better version of Metal Gear
I saw the dos version of metal gear online a while ago, it only has one song during the whole game. It's awefull. I hope none paid more than 2 euros for this game, it's real bad.
