cool. Really like your "PSG jam video"!
Thanks! It was fun to make :).
- If you want to lower the volume a bit, enable the tone generator and set it to period 0 or 1, the inaudibly quick oscillation of the tone generator will halve the amplitude.
I guess you can also double the amplitude by wasting another channel, but hard to imagine it being very useful.
Yeah, I think the envelope is more likely to be too loud than too soft.

just playing around with HW envelope values and noise frequencies.
a bit rough around the edges

The link does not work ...
Works perfectly on both my ancient phone as well as on my deteriorated PC. Maybe check your settings.
Nice effect syn . I presume the effect only works on white noise. How does it involve the HW envelope?
I dont know why the link doesnt work, its a shared file in dropbox.
Some context: The bassdrum was done using HW envelop. I just played around with the settings/values So it is possible to sort of fake a percieved volume change or filter. Works fine for percussive hits but I dont think this can work for melodic sounds, because the tone/frequency changes due to the envelope rates used
The snaredrum doesnt use hw envelops. i just made 8 different snaredrums each with different noise frequencies. Adjusted the volume a bit to try match the bassdrums. In reality i think this is not a practical method for than 1 sound because we only have 31 available instruments definitions in Trilotracker. Ofcourse if you code something yourself this is fine.
