@ hit9918
So hey, all the theorizing aside, feel like coding a game? Smile

@JohnHassink,
I'm working on a game, but "still unfinished" Smile can't make it to a deadline.
There are issues where I got to code till it is solved. The recent case was when the mario flame broke loose.
In that story was again "cant slotswitch page 0", it was heartbreaking. Related is the whole story of subslot fails.

Then I did "page 3 bios". You can flip page 0, even while enabled interrupt! Calling a page 3 location.
With pages 0,1,2 feely flippable and no interrupt issues in the neck, things are more easy and bigger.
I gotta release first version soon.

I think the first MSX game I played (or at least tried to play) was Flight Path 737, on the Spectravideo "MSX adapter" connected to an SVI-318. As you can imagine, it was an impossible thing to do. Not long after that, we brought the "adapter" back to the store and got an SVI-728 instead. (And then 738, which I had until 1994)

I think it was athletic land though I had some gaming experience on atari 2600 and ti 99/4a. The first MSX game I bought myself was track and field 2 for 75 guilders which was a lot of money in 1986

I still remember that day at the electronics shop with my dad and my bro'. Honestly, my brother and I would have chosen a Commodore 64 but then my father put his hand over its power supplier and was almost burned! Being a good electronic technician, he was not willing to forgive what he considered a quite obvious design flaw so my first computer was a Philips VG8010 MSX... with Athletic Land on cartridge Smile

The first game I played was Athletic Land on a VG8010 of a friend. I bought my first new computer in 1985, it was a VG8020 with 3 tapes : Buck Rogers, HERO and Beamider.
