Yeah, I know. He's from Swing-kun, and is "Randar" because he moves randomly. Then there's Duston and Beauty.
Toyama clearly improved the engine to Ku Gyoku, but he explained the simultaneous 2 player option in the MSX was a direct result of that code already being in Ku Gyoku. They were hoping that by building on an existing engine they could crank the game out faster.

Great! In the last issue of the Spanish MSX-AREA magazine there were an interesting article about japanese games already translated in other computer platforms. The best thing is, all of them were released for MSX, that is the reason why the author wrote the article. The texts are already there and we could take advantage of it...
