I was just reading the A1WX Wiki and it seems easy enough to upgrade the RAM from 64K to 256K
Any issues upgrading? Is it a worthwhile upgrade ?
Your thoughts are welcome
Thanks!

It depends on what you use it for.
If you only play Japanese games, then no there’s no need.
If you already have another MSX with more memory that you’re using as well then probably there’s no need either.
If you want to run European MSX2 games on it, then the memory upgrade will be a good idea, since 128K RAM was common in Europe and quite some software needs it.
If you want to use (Nextor) MSX-DOS2 and DOS2 tools that use additional memory like VGMPlay, then the extra memory is also useful.
Note that you can also upgrade the memory externally without modifying the machine using a memory expansion cartridge. Multi-function cartridges like the MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD 512K and Carnivore2 come with additional memory included in order to support Nextor MSX-DOS2 on all MSX models regardless of internal memory size.
I myself have a an FS-A1FX that I don’t intend to upgrade the memory of, because 1. I prefer to keep it original, 2. I have other MSX computers with enough memory already, and 3. I have plenty of RAM expansion cartridges that I can use. However if it was my only MSX, as an “advanced” type of MSX user I would probably upgrade it. The upgrade is really trivial to do.
But maybe the answer is in the question — if you don’t know what you need it for, then you probably do not need it . You can always upgrade it later when the need arises.
Thanks for the info. I have a MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD 512K so I will leave it just like it came from Panasonic
