Looks amazing and I'm looking forward to it. On the other side, despite things slowly improving here in Brazil, I have no delusions about how expensive it would be for us, with exchange rates and taxes being what they are right now (and I'm not even touching the pandemic). Francisco, do you have any estimate about how much would the cartridge cost?

Around 40€. SCC chip is expensive and components are now more expensive due to the microchip world crisis.

Yes, really curious, i was sure there are no SCC chips (if you don't break precious existing games) available nowadays

Original SCC chips are nowhere to be found nowadays. And even if there were old stock or pulls available, it wouldn’t be affected by the chip shortage.

Exactly. We're using a FPGA to emulate the SCC. This is what makes the cartridge more expensive.
SCC real chips are no longer built, so we just can't use them.
