You mean crowdfunding, a crow is a bird Cool
Personally, money wouldn't motivate me, honest praise and technical feedback is much more valuable.

Artrag, but why would you need money for that project?
I mean, I would only invest money knowing where exactly it would be spent. I never tried Kickstarter but I would assume that, as any venture capitalist does, you need to show a believable Business Plan...

Still waiting for Core Crisis to come out on MSX cartridge... when finished, I'll definitely buy a cartridge! With doing that I think I sponsor and encourage development also.

I'd like to think so too. But as a Dutch citizen, I'm ashamed to say that just IS NOT TRUE. Crying That said,

is the common case, people simply not managing their afairs well enough. Not cutting expenses when income goes south, spending money on things they don't need, ignoring bills so that extra costs get added all the time, etc, etc.

As for original subject: I don't know anyone who makes a living with MSX-related activities. So if this dude hit a point where power is cut etc, trying to make money with an MSX game, is a side job at best.

More likely he's wasting his time & should be focussing on income, cutting expenses that aren't 100% essential, and negotiate payment arrangements that all parties know can be kept. When I have money to spare for charity, I can think of 1001 other charities whose recipients need help much more than your average MSX coder (not saying anything about the position this dude is in).

Well We're getting a little of topic.
But Thanks! Money isn't a motivator to me. But the fact you want to play is a great motivator. Wink

... and what if there is nothing left to manage, expenses already cut as much as possible, no income at all?
