Actualy it can also "clone " the internal one using the same ports (/P1 option). No need to patch the ROMs for that.

Uh-oh, apologies for that confusion, i think i just never used that option so i forgot about it

There's opfxsd /p1 in my autoexec.bat and the /p1 is also added in my multi mente config. I don't know what the benefit of the cloned psg is if there's no audio output on the cartridge.

You never ever used weird machines with broken cartridge audio to internal mixer balance? Smile (like Wavy 70FD?)

Here's photo of my Carnivore 2 produced by 8bits4ever and it has goldplated contacts

In case of broken PSG or Sanyo, indeed. But in all other cases you will hear both PSGs through your monitor speaker. Two the same notes tend to do strange things.

The "clone PSG" option was added to avoid problems in the Philips 8250/55/80 and similar (the internal PSG is almost muted).
There is no point in playing two PSGs at the same time using the same audio output.

Thanks Pencloner.

Carnivore 2 PCB seems to exceed its case and the holes are too wide. The PCB probably has to move in its case. I think it does not seem the case for MFR.

I updated the Wiki.

Feel free to indicate if details are missing.
