Never heard about them. Can you give me a link?
My OS is Win XP, BTW.

As well as Aleste 2. I run them the same way, Aleste 2 works, Aleste Gaiden does not.

Of many games, there are several 'broken' copies in circulation. Be sure to also try and download a different version somewhere else.

syn: what else is he on that doesn't run openMSX? Tongue (OK, iOS doesn't have a port yet...) But anyway, good question Smile

he could have been trying to run msx emulation on a console like dreamcast/ps2 or something like amiga, psp etc Smile

blueMSX plays disk images out of the box but hasn't been updated in a while (hopefully soon)
openMSX gets updated almost daily and you can find the daily builds (also for android/mac-OSX/etc) on http://openmsx.fixato.net/

The openMSX and blueMSX team have worked together to provide a rom database so you don't have to specify the mappers like you do in fMSX.

I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I get my games from http://www.msxarchive.nl/pub/msx/games/
Afaik everything there works. Haven't dl'd a game that didn't work yet.

Oh, and I use BlueMSX. Great emulator.

Oh! Naughy Turrebo! What's next - you were probably going to tell him that he should google on "konamito" to find even more games, right? No, we can't have that! Totally against our policy. Don't do it again. Wink

(BTW - I found some games on the "archive" to actually be broken)

The problem was not with the game but with fMSX. Works great under blueMSX!
Thanx again for that very nice emulator. I especially liked the possibility to save and load at any moment; however, sometimes loading makes the emulator to hang Sad The possibility to change CPU speed while playing is also very useful.
