Hey, each time you're getting more impressive in taming the color bleed! You're really getting very close to Konami-quality graphics!

Also, thank you sd_snatcher for the info on retro gallery! I'm just wondering how exactly I upload new images on the site, do I already have an account, or do I need to make one?

Thank you too! You just have to create an account. The author field is independent from the accounts. This way it's possible, for example, to easily describe when a collaboration of authors happened on a specific picture.

Well thank you, I'm flattered! Konami was really one of the greats when it came to graphics on MSX.

They're very nice, thank you! What editor did you use to draw them?

BTW, do you have the native MSX files for them? Would you like to upload them to the Retro Gallery?

@sd_snatcher : Thank you Wink
Here the SC5 files :
AWAKE.SC5
LESSON.SC5
1) I grab a reference that I resize to 256x212.
2) BMP2MSX to limit the palette, BMP2MSX -> .BMP file.
3) ASEPRITE to draw the BMP file and add layers (tune the 16 colors palette for my taste), ASEPRITE -> .PNG file.
4) .PNG to MIFUI to obtain the SC5 and PL5 files.
5) optional : For the single SC5 file (screen + palette) I use a personal program or BSAVE the image on the MSX (emulator).

For MSX newcomers, the BASIC for loading image on MSX or emulator when files are on a disk, ex :

10 SCREEN 5:COLOR 15,0,0
20 BLOAD"A:AWAKE.SC5",S
30 COLOR=RESTORE
40 A$=INPUT$(1)

and RUN it.
