To elaborate: originally, on the 8250/8255 the sound of the FM-PAC and SCC was so loud that you couldn't hear the PSG anymore, so they had to be modified to restore the balance.

could anyone tell me how to fix this problem on my 8250? I can't seem to find the solution on the web...

thanks

pvanthienen, what is your problem exacly ?? and what have you already checked ??

Youve got probably the same problem i had, the only solution i found was in the news letters from msx club west friesland.
The solution was to place a resistor at cardridge sound pin (pin 49).
(2k2 i believe, got to check that)

If your psg sounds normal without scc then this the solution. (well here it was)

If it doesn't you have to check if R428&R429 are 100uF elco's.
