Hello,

I just wonder if I update Carnivore2 firmware (.POF) with Quartus II, will the games already in Carnivore's FlashROM will be erased ?

You only need to update the firmware, Boot Menu and IDE BIOS. If you don't erase the directory or flash chip, your games in the FlashROM will remain intact.

Sorry for hijacking this topic but i also got my Carnivore 2 and it's a beast.

I did need to flash the ide because of not being able to find my CF card and got it all working now together with sofarun.

I do have problems with .dsk games because everytime i start them it says "no free segment"
I got a NMS8250 128/128 (and ofcourse the mem from the carnivore 2)
I did read a topic (i think from 2017) that you need more memory to load .dsk games with sofarun. Is that still the case? or is there a work-around available?
