I have for sale a very nice Mitsubishi ML-G10 MSX2 computer. I cannot test the RGB output because my cables won’t fit (the case opening is less wide than on other MSX computers but I believe it is still the same pinout. The price for this computer is €225.

If you are interested please send me an e-mail. The address is on my profile page.

I received another ML-G10 and the RGB on this machine here seems to have an issue (on the second one it does work). So this one will be repaired first.

So I tried this today once more and actually the RGB output works just fine, the opening in the case around the connector is a bit small so I may not have pushed the cable in properly before.

I’ve actually been enjoying the machine the last few days and it is quite a low noise design. I also got a picture of the inside (not from this actual machine):

It has quite huge capacitors on the power supply board ;).

you mean low noise design regarding audio sounding clean?

Exactly! Three things are very noticeable:

1. The output volume (so voltage basically) is higher than on most other MSX’s I’ve seen (ehm heard).
2. The noise floor is low (probably also due to previous point) and there is (at normal listening levels) no cross talk from other components.
3. The mixing of PSG and external sources is done nicely.

Here you can listen to a recording of Space Manbow intro on the ML-G10 (original cartridge, no modifications to the cart or computer, no editing). It's not perfect of course but certainly quite above average, the only machine that performs better is a PHC-35J imho (although there PSG is a bit on the loud side, but even less noise).

Something I just noticed on the board in the video section, there is a CON-RGB which is installed and goes to the video daughter board, above that is marked on the board CON-VGA, the connector is not actually populated on the board. I wonder if they considered putting a 9 pin (older style) VGA connector on this at some point...
