Vilzam translated

Tema: Translations
Idiomas:

Before working at Technosoft (notably on the games Feedback and Herzog), programmer Yuichi Toyama created a game called Vilzam. Today, it has been translated, while the text display has been optimized in general as well.
The game, a cross between Time Pilot and Bosconian, is not that well known. The game was released as a listing in Login Magazine and had won second prize in a programming contest.
The game was meant to be played on a cassette. To make it more accessible for other users who can't play it in CAS format, a patch has been made to convert it to a rom file.
A small manual made by Takamichi Suzukawa is also included.

Thanks for the post and the nice picture again! Is it possible to remove my nick from the picture or change it to MSX Translations? Because more people worked on this.

Haha, I will change it as soon as I'm with my Mac this evenning. Time to get a proper band name, like back in the days. How about TaC (Translators against Commodore) or Randam and the Translators?
Anyway: Great work guys! I never had heard about this game before.

Thanks to everyone involved in this!
I've been wanting to play this game since I learned about Yūichi TOYAMA in this great interview by Game Preservation Society (great interview - I recommend watching it):

If you want to know what he thought while programming, just take a peek inside his games... At least you'll get good idea that he liked TM Network songs, but if you read Japanese you can find the whole (non sugar coated) development postscript from Feedback disk. For example here is one of the hidden messages from Herzog: :)

Quote:

IDIOT is Mr.DEAD FISH(Level 43 hacker)
A little thanx to Miss chiezou-yam
No thanx to healthy-melsy(in CHINA)
Fuck you to TECNOSOFT!(give me overtime allowance!)
