Gotek does not work on every MSX computer. I've not tested it on my Sonys yet, but the Panasonics ignore its existence.

hello, the logo starts up very slowly, won't the Speed Controller be on?

The logo starting up slowly is due to the top of the case being removed when I made the video, and the speed controller being disconnected. I was troubleshooting the floppy drive. Smile

The drive not responding to the commands is causing the BDOS to freeze. Same thing happens in my Sony F500 if I connect the drive cable 180degrees turned. Worth a shot to turn the connector 180 degrees and see what happens, especially as the same thing happened with the Gotek. BTW, was the Gotek flashywith FlashFloppy? And set to DS0?

Drive cable rotation is necessary if the drive light is always lit, as soon as there is power in the system.

We already know that there is talk of the floppy drive, and that the comment on speed seems silly, but it is not.
connect the speed, it is not necessary to close the msx, if it continues the same, flip the 34-pin connector, as they have said.
and if it still doesn't work, it means that the floppy drive has died, try a msx compatible pc.

Also quite important: What's the system trying to boot? You turned off the ROM disk which is turned on by default and boots into multi mente. If you boot from a µsd card nextor.sys and command2.com need to be present in its root. When there is no dos/nextor environment you'll end up in basic.
You'll also end up in basic if you flashed a DSK file without anything to boot.
