What type of thing can I use to store things relating to MSX somewhere (that is to say programs) without using a floppy drive?

Will a mapper cart do? Or is there any sort of floppy emulator for MSX? I've been slacking off programming for the MSX as much as I want to because I dont know where to store programs if I were to use them on an actual MSX. Also, can I install MSX-DOS without using a floppy drive and with a mapper?

I own an AX170, Al-Fateh 123, a Panasonic FS-A1, a Toshiba HX-10, an AX370 and the Bawareth MSX1.

Beer IDE is good for that, it's great for saving Basic programs, loading roms on MSX1 and non memory expanded MSX2 that doesn't run dos2.

The SD-512 if you want a cheap device.

Carnivore 2 if you need FM + SCC in extra.

It's a shame the MegaFlashROM doesn't offer FM. It should be able to do that without price increase.

MSX USB interface like the Rookiedrive enable you to use a USB thumb drive/memory stick.
If you use my drivers you can even connect other devices to it.
