What I noticed is because we used only one ADPCM Channel sometimes others Sound Samples(aka Y8950-ADPCM) are lost. That could be fixed if we add a Second Y8950 Engine (Other NMS1205/GR8NET/FS-CA1 Cartridge Interface with 256KB Sample RAM) but let's Finish this version first with just one Y8950-Engine and we'll see later what happen.
P.S: Hey, Takamichi the Main HERO is a MALE or FEMALE? and the Blue Knight at the END is MALE or FEMALE? Do you have the Game manual? will be interesting to know more about the game story.
I of course own the manual. The protagonist who sometimes shows up in the title screen is a woman called Shiia. The final boss is a man called Haan. The prologue and demos suggest Shiia and Haan were a pair but Haan was cheating with Jakoin Maina the red enemy in stage 6 and 7.
Funny statement in the manual is both Shiia and Haan are aliases and have Japanese names, Mimuro Shiia and Takahara Kento respectively. The manual also suggests they were not really in love but just Shiia had a crush on Haan.
If the name of the Stage 4 boss is same as Hourai Kanon which is the stone she(?) sometimes drops, she is definitely a woman. But it might be a mislead. I don't know the name of the angel-like boss in Stage 5.
I couldn't find NO! in stage 3 but I faintly remember seeing one in stage 5 or so. It might be about shooting something you shouldn't, warning you were poisoned/slowed/confused, or only a meaningless effect. Is it visible in any youtube video?
I do own the original sound track cd of Pleasure Hearts. I think there was sound effects on there as well. I don't know if that will help or that it is necessary but will look it up.

There is a man, woman and a dog (?) appearing after you defeat the biplane miniboss in Stage 3 around 07:18 here. Pic I suspect they have something to do with NO! thing but shooting/colliding them only results in getting stones.
@Randam: Can you translate the manual here?
