It is my privilege to present you a new release of Arkos Tracker 2, the 2.0.0 alpha 5 version!
I never did an "official" thread to present Arkos Tracker, so here it is. Arkos Tracker 2 is a tracker for any hardware having an AY-3-8912/YM2149, such as MSX, Amstrad CPC, Spectrum, Atari ST, Oric, Vectrex, Sharp MZ700, etc. Main features:
- Cross-platform (Windows, Linux, Mac).
- Manage both standard PSG and samples without distinction.
- Unlimited PSG count! You can create standard 3-channel songs, or 6, 9, 32 or more if you want!
- Multiple players, from ultra-fast streamed AKY, generic AKG, to minimalist AKM, short yet powerful.
- Sound effect support.
- Adaptive players to the songs (only the features used by the song is compiled in the player).
And NEW for this version:
- Darky and MSX FPGA support.
- ROM players
- Midi in: plug your keyboard and have fun!
- Midi import
- Source converter: convert the music and player source to any assembler (winape, sdcc, pasmo, vasm, etc.) automatically, thanks to Disark, a new tool (for which I'll create a new thread...)!
- ... and many other improvements.
