My workstation is a Philips NMS 8245 + MFR (slot1) + MMM (slot2) and I've tried both collections of games provided by this thread and MSX Repro Factory. The results of my tests are these:
- Sega : .SMS and some .SG files return this error "memory mapper not supported"; some games don't support the 2nd joystick button;
- Coleco : Repro Factory games start, but some of GDX's collection return some error (I don't remember).
Before I list the items that don't start, the first question is: does my workstation (with the MFR) is ok for the MMM?
How much RAM has your 8245? Your MFR has 512kB?
What software did you use to run .SG files? Which .SMS files have you tried?
What if you put the MMM in slot 1 and the MFR in slot 2?
If that helps, the games should probably detect the MMM slot rather than assuming it is the primary mapper.
I added Choplifter.

The MMM section. I see that you guys are talking about Sega, I had an idea instead of emulating SMS games. Why not do SMS to MSX conversions? MSX to SMS / SG or SG to MSX is easy enough, but I'm really, REALLY interested to see this kind of activity.
I added Burn Rubber.
This is perhaps possible with the v9990 but I don't plan to convert SMS software.
I added Cabbage Patch Kids - Adventures in the Park.
The conversion was easier than I thought.
What? How can it be when I tried when doing a ROM conversion? Is it that it's OUT (0xC0), A or OUT (0xA0),A?
The only difficulty was this:
8052: ld a,i 8054: jp po,#8059
I had to remove the JP PO for the game to work. I don't know the reason but luckily I remembered seeing this in the Space Invader conversion.
Hmm... Okay, I will see if I can do this.
