Those conditions sound very reasonable .
So, what's happening now? I've been using the openmsx emulator on my Raspberry Pi and a disktop PC as well as trying to buy an MSX2 computer. How about a meet up in or near London? How about a group visit to the MSX fair in Nijmegen on 24-01-15 http://www.manuel.msxnet.org/msx/beurs/?lang=en ? Alcoholic drinks only cost €1 each! It doesn't say what kind of alcoholic drinks, but at that price, who cares? On some visits to the Netherlands I drank a lot of Genever (Dutch Gin) which was quite cheap. I haven't got all that much money, but I speak Dutch and have even been watching the Dutch soap "Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden" (GTST) on www.rtlxl.nl , so I could be your tourist courier. You can ask the Dutch members of this forum what GTST is like.
Manuel- do you have any copies of the msx link magazine?
As my web site says:
• Chip Chat (MSX LINK UK): July 1994, September 1994

The site doesn't mention the word alcoholic at all...
Manual, can I register for the fair already ?
I see the form is not up yet. I would like register for nowind and chinese food! haha
Gr,
Jan
Relax, form will be online next week or so
Manuel- any chance of you sending me scanned copies of the two link issues?
Not a big chance I don't have a proper scanner to do that, so it would be a lot of manual work. I rather spend my time on other things.
UK user here in sunny Frodsham,Cheshire
still love my msx, also love my speccy too
the new games coming out for the msx are excellent and i am waiting for the release of Pang on cart
It's me again from somewhere in or around London, but it's best not to give out even an approximate address on any forums. At this moment some MSX fanatic burglars could be planning a trip to that village I've never heard of before in sunny Cheshire, where wilsone73 lives! I'm proud to announce that I've just bought a Philips VG8235 MSX2 on eBay. I know that there will be other things I can't afford to do in the near future, but I think it was worth it. I'd like to get some kind of FM sound upgrade to it in the near future, so I can play music like I used to on my CX5M, but I'm not sure how I would upgrade it. I'd need a Yamaha SFG-01 or SFG-05, as well as some music software to make it work like the CX5M. This computer would probably need a slot expander. I recently saw a video of an MSX1 computer which had a few bare boards connected to its cartridge port or ports and it looked such a mess!
