Viej: nice ones!
Didn't know MSX1 game covers could be so cool
Did anyone nominate Illusion City's cover already? It seems there isn't a nice scan on the net tho... :\
Nope, couldn't find a proper scan either... That's prolly why it wasn't nominated yet, 'cause it's a cool cover... Added the rest of 'em tho...
Yes yes!!
Princess Maker is no.2 for me! LOL!
Legendary game by Gainax!
I must say that I can't make a choice... I hardly ever seen originals O_o...
I do remember that the old MSX1 games have mostly the greatest covers ever, so I'll browse them a bit here and there...
Level 9 had a few titles with amazing covers... unfortunatly those were MSX-1 text-based adventures (some games had really crappy additional graphics though, which was plotted with line, circle and blockfill commands)
The covers were great though:
I can't find the really cool ones though, the one from Return to Eden was excellent, and so was the one from Lords of Time.
Don't know if it has already been mentioned, but GAME OVER is a classic cover artwork, and just for the record, it was slightly modified due to censorship in the United Kingdom.
Continuing with Spanish games, CAMELOT WARRIORS has also a incredible drawing.
pitpan: game over was nominated idd. If you want to nominate those spanish games though, I'll need an URL to a proper scan of the cover... ( or you can send the file to artwork@msx.org )
My fault. Sorry about that:

- Censored versions (smart guys!) - Question: why brit authorities hate tits?

Actually, Camelot Warriors' artwork is not that good as I remembered it, but it has a cool retro feeling that I love. Some of both Dinamic and Topo Soft covers were great (Alfonso Azpiri and others).
Azpiri is an excellent illustrator and he has created also some amazing comicbooks, such as Lorna or Mot (games were also created, MSX version included).
CAMELOT WARRIORS:
