Looks like japanese people think that international MSX junkies are total idions Smile

104.00 euro... no wonder it's 0 bids

This whole UBS reader thing is IMO highly overrated item what is only useful to nostalgic emulator users. It's useless with real MSX hardware. And I don't think it will be used with all the next gen msx mobos (CIEL3++, eMSX2++ and japanese MSX-on-a-chip project). It would just increase an already high producton costs...

That's more or less the same price it was in Japan when it got released. Knowing the seller, the goods are probably new.

Yeah... The first game readers were 100 euros already. They're not available anymore, except on seller's places like eBay or the Japanese Yahoo! Auctions. Although those 100 euros seem a lot of money to us, it is a lot less for Japanese people. Those people earn twice as much as we do, and therefore their prices are twice as high. Ever wondered why they all come over here, with those mega-expensive digital camera's? That's because a place like the Netherlands is a kind of Neverland for them: it's all so cheap there! :)
I recently heard a cup of coffee would cost about €8, over there... :(

Besides, the reason the MSX Game Reader was invented was mentioned by Nishi in 2001 during his Tilburg lecture: the one chip MSX won't have a cartridge slot, but they can be connected through USB. ;)

Well, in this case I can rest assured that compatibility will suck big time Wink
