Can't you use server-side scripting for your website, it would speed it up a lot (Well for my Pc at work anyway Big smile ).

I think I actually prefer the MSX1 graphics, especially the backgrounds.

Perhaps it's a matter of what you're used to, but I like the MSX1 graphics in Hydlide 3 better too. The MSX2 gfx have a bad palette...

Great Smile
Here at work I have an 1700XP+ with 256 RAM (the PC kinda sux, because my job is programming, could use more RAM), and your site took like more than a minute to load Smile

It's running from his local machine, so depending on how busy he uses his cable connection, the site will be slower or faster.

Maybe... but it's using the slowmotion language Java.
First the virtual machine needs to start, then compile the classes, etc.
Slow. Big smile

Converting his site to PHP will be much faster for visitors.

If you have problems with the Java applet, you might want to visit the home page and find out how it can be changed to a text version. The java applet version will be in the PHP version as well. But since the site uses cookies you can get the text version by default.
