A leader could be aslo useful to promote competition among developers
Anyone willing to breack the msx2 stagnation?

No, not competition, but cooperation. Give a direction to the MSX and people following it.

Sounds interesting, but remember that most MSX programmers are enhanced versions of Gandhi: they do it for fun, they give their time generously, they donate their talent to a community that tends to say that they want productions for higher-spec configurations. So, cooperation is cool, but it is up to the developers to organize themselves and arrange their teams.

If a user is not happy with the current productions, he's got a chance to change it all: learn to program and start coding what he wants. That's what developers do/did.

That's valid engineering point of view. And there're other possibilities and opportunities, which people can not see because they are bounded by their "boxes" (mentality or way of life).

later this year, the MSX Resource Center will get a massive update. As part of this, there will be a wiki which we hope will become a great starting point for beginning, novice and expert developers for MSX.
Excellent idea! LOL! Feature request: keep in mind option(s) to mirror, make local copies, snapshots etc, and make sure that all contents is under a free license (such as Creative Commons or GNU Free Documentation License). Perhaps even in a software repository style where 3rd party helpers can upload changes back to the main site. Question

That way you could create a freely distributable MSX 'body of knowledge' that can live on & evolve on its own, even if MRC maintainers decide to focus on other things. Or pull the plug at some point in the future - someday, that will happen... Crying
