Gainax released Princess Maker 2 for the GamePark32 portable game console.
A company called Spectra Technology Solutions released the first adventure game for the dutch KPN i-mode mobile phones. What makes it even more special, is that the game is obviously based on the Runemaster type of games.

The MSX GNOME project is aims to make MSX-centered themes for the GNOME desktop environment. GNOME runs on Linux, *BSD and Solaris operating systems. There are already themes for Nautilus file manager and Metacity window manager.

Many of us who try to understand at least a little of the text on some Japanese webpages are using a translation site like babelfish.altavista.com. We forget slang, and we are getting used to reading text wich sound likes some baby's first words. Anyways, I stumbled to a new one today (at least new to me) wich I -of course- share again with you.

Boukichi released a new version of C-BIOS which now emulates the SCREEN2 palette correctly.Boukichi still needs the help of the MSX Community. Not only for information on the MSX architecture, or for a new name for this MSX Compatible BIOS. Boukichi would also like you to test the sound-test mode and compare the sound to the real thing.

Daniel Caetano has almost finished translating Konami's Snatcher to Portuguese. The translation scripts are being updated so translation to other languages becomes a lot easier. The automatic break-line feature of the script importer is almost running perfect as well.But, more important, a tool to run Snatcher from harddisk is created.
