Wow, we never had a poll-result as clear as this. This time, we asked our visitors to choose their favorite MSX soundchip. Right from the start, one chip took the lead and it never gave the lead away. Despite the technological lead of the OPL4 soundchip, and the discussion in our forum, the SCC soundchip won hands down.

Illusion City was one of the best MicroCabin games, released only for MSX turboR computers, released only in Japanese. After translating Parodius to English, a team of Portuguese and Japanese MSX users started translating Illusion City into Portuguese.

Adriano da Cunha translated Konami''s Parodius, which is originally only in Japanse, into English. Besides that he also translated some portions of the manual into English.

Michiel de Vries announced on the MSX Mailinglist that he will (try to) make the Moonsound work in Meridian. This is great news, since the structure of Meridian allows users to use more features of the Moonsound cartridge than Moonblaster does.

openMSX - Bussum edition online

Yesterday, the openMSX crew showed the latest version of openMSX on the MSX fair in Bussum. One of the improvements since version 0.1.9 is the pixel-accuracy mode which - at the expense of CPU-usage - makes the scope part in Unknown Reality work!
