DRM released a new track called Sunday Papa in MP3 and MGS format on his DrMSX Soundwork website. The song was composed on MSX and uses the PSG, OPLL and SCC soundchips.

Boukichi released a tool which converts binary files to .CAS files. The tool has been created for fun and research purposes, but can be used in cross-development as well.

During their MSX days, Konami often offered special game features when combining two different Konami Cartridges in both cartridge ports.

Yesterday the third edition of the MSX developers meeting Devcon was held in Noordscheschut, Netherlands. Wolf_, msd and [D-Tail] took several pictures which have just been added to our photoshoots section. Right here you can have a look at 47 pictures taken during this unique MSX event.

Konamiman has just released a new version of InterNestor Lite, a toolkit for MSX-DOS that allows you to connect your MSX with an ObsoNET or RS232 cartridge to the internet.

FTP client for MSX 1.01

Konamiman has just released a new version of his FTP client for MSX, which can be used in combination with InterNestor Lite. Changes in this version:

  • Fixed a bug which made sending and receiving data in Z80 mode impossible
  • When opening a connection to an FTP server, you can now cancel the process by clicking ESC

Manuel Bilderbeek informed us that openMSX, its versatile launcher Catapult, C-BIOS and Pasmo have been added to the Debian Linux distribution.
