Earlier today we reported about Bazix introducing MSXPLAYer for Series 60 phones.

Bazix, the company representing MSX Association outside the Japanese market, have revealed more information on their upcoming MSXPLAYer for Series 60, including a movie of the emulator in action.

The MSX World 2005 report on the Japanese computing news portal itMedia has become the second-most read story on the entire website, counting from May 9th to May 15th.

Adriano da Cunha has re-released a small utility he created some years ago to load 16k/32k ROMs into SRAM (or RAM) cartridges. SRAMLOAD has a number of features, allowing you to load ROMs at adresses 0000, 4000, 8000 or C000 and verfifying that they were written correctly.

YS4 - Boss tune by Hackurl

Hackurl created an MP3 recording of what the YS4 boss tune would have sounded like, had it been released on MSX. In true Falcom MSX style, he only uses the PSG soundchip for this one.

From May 3rd to May 17th, Sander Zuidema of Bazix visited Japan in order to attend the MSX World 2005 ~ I love MSX event in Akihabara, Tokyo.

People who visited the Spanish MSX portal Hispamsx.org this morning were in for a surprise, as the site had been attacked and taken offline by hackers. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time these kind of attacks happen on MSX related websites.

Just now, ASCII have opened up a website where the upcoming One Chip MSX can be pre-ordered. For 19.800 yen (about €145 / $185) this fully MSX1, partly MSX2 compatible device can be obtained.
