Since a few months a VG5000 emulator is being developed by a team specialized in the emulation of the French Thomson computers. The Philips VG5000 can be seen as a pre-MSX1 machine but it uses a different videochip, being the STM EF9345.

The Professional Adventure Writer system (PAW) has been ported to MSX. Graeme Yeandle, former member of GILSOFT, granted his permission to create a MSX conversion and distribute it freely. PAW is a well known authoring system that was so popular for adventure creation in the United Kingdom and Spain.

SEGA joypad for MSX
Carlos Maidana has released an article on his website which describes how a 6 button joypad for the SEGA Genesis can be connected to a standard MSX joystick port.

Amusement Center have re-released Compile's classic MSX2 shooter Aleste in Project EGG.
