MadriSX 2006 - Photo shoot

Yesterday the annual MSX user meeting MadriSX was held in Madrid, Spain. Known as the most internationally focused MSX meeting in Spain, this year was the busiest edition ever with no less than 396 visitors. Countach attended the fair and took this photo shoot.

Brand new MRC member countach has opened Countach's MSX site, a website on which the software he produced for MSX can be downloaded. A link to the site has been added to our MSX links section.

The Darkness God Of Destroy was updated with a realtime article and a photo shoot on the 28th Barcelona MSX user meeting, which was held on December 3rd, 2005. Previously, a photo shoot and video on this meeting were published.

MSX Maps has been restyled and updated with the maps of Yuureikun (Mr.Ghost), an MSX2 game released in 1989 by System Sacom.

A new edition of Moai Tech webzine has been released yeterday The webzine contains Spanish articles on, amongst others, MSXdev'05, Dahku and an interview with Matra.

Unfortunately this is the second edition of Moai Tech that is only available in Spanish.

Daniel Vik has optimized and fixed bugs in the tool used to create the 105 color images, as seen in the MSX Unleashed demo. The optimized tool is now released in a package that contains the encoder tool and assembly source for a viewer application.

Meits sent us the ninth entry to the MRC Scene Music Remake Challenge. From Compjoetania's Noise Disk he re-arranged All there is to see. Originally composed for MSX-AUDIO and MSX-MUSIC, the remake was composed for Moonsound using Moonblaster WAVE.

Falcom goes iTunes

The Japanese game developers Falcom have released their classic (and often hard to get) game music soundtracks and arrangements on iTunes. Unfortunately, the soundtracks are currently only available on the Japanese version of iTunes.
