At the end of last year, Okei released a new version of her FAT16 driver for MSX-DOS2, fixing a bug in the directory display routines. The FAT16 driver can be used on IDE, SCSI and CompactFlash interfaces in order to be able to access FAT16 partitions on MSX.

Almost a week ago we reported on a new Lenny Kravitz music video which contains a lot of MSX action. The music video, created by poke-1,170, was the video to Nikko Patrelakis's remake of the Lenny Krativz song Breathe.

This weekend there was an MSX Party going on in Deventer, the Netherlands. On the website of the organization of the party, MSX Posse, you can now find a photo shoot which gives an impression of the day, night and morning that passed.

Scriton have released a CD which contains recordings from various popular games from GameARTS, recorded from a NEC PC-8801. The record includes songs of Fire Hawk (Thexder 2), which was released on MSX as well.

MSX Club Groningen are currently investigating the possibility of holding a large, international MSX and Retro fair in Groningen, The Netherlands. The goal is to create an unforgettable day in a fair location the size of the classic Tilburg and Zandvoort fairs, with a similar atmosphere.

Roger Samdal has opened up a website dedicated to the Spectravideo computers. As you probably will know, Spectravideo computers are closely related to the MSX computer. The SVI-318 and SVI-328 are almost MSX1 compatible, whilst the SCI-728 and SVI-738 follow the MSX1 standard. The SVI-738 even had a V9938 VDP (MSX2) on board.

FDISK version 3.10 for the Sunrise IDE interface has a bug which causes useful MSX-DOS2 commands like UNDEL not to work anymore. This is because of the incorrect Volume ID. BiFi has released a tool called Fixboot which patches the Volume ID to MSX-DOS2 standard without changing anything else to the boot sector.
