Amusement Center have re-released Riverhill Soft's adventure game Manhattan Requiem in Project EGG. On MSX2, the game was originally released in 1988

A few weeks ago we reported about the upcoming Castlevania game for Nintendo DS that Konami is currently developing.

Less than one month after its launch, the 2006 edition of the MSXdev contest seems to become a really great edition, as 6 entries have already been announced. The latest entry is called Malaika - Prehistoric Quest and is being made by the founders of this great challenge, Karoshi Corp (Jon Cortazar and Eduardo Robsy).

MSX Club Argentina 2006 announced

The dates and location for the MSX Club Argentina 2006 meeting have been announced. This year, the MSX meeting will take place on July 15th and 16th in Mar del Plata, Argentina. The organization are aiming to attract some international visitors, and have taken care not to organize the meeting during the FIFA World Cup in Germany.

Castools 1.1 Windows Frontend

L. Albert (Psychophanta) made a Windows frontend for castools, a utility used to convert .CAS images used by MSX emulators. This frontend will make the conversion from .wav to .cas and the other way around a lot easier than using the regular commandline interface.

Knightmare Gold 2.0

Knightmare Gold, which was first released last year by Amusement Factory, has just been released to the public on the Knightmare Gold website.

This public version does not only have a lot of bugfixes, but is also a big improvement from version 1.0 distributed
