The Spanish MSX game development group Paxanga have updated their website, announcing no less than 3 new games and a utility:

  • Kame Graphics 2.0 (Graphics designer for MSX2)
  • Tam Tam Twins (MSX1 platform game, developed together with Dered Soft
  • Pengo (MSX2 arcade game, development (currently?) stopped
  • A pro

fmsxSE 0.14

Nyagosu has released fMSXSE 0.14, an MSX emulator for Windows Mobile devices. The emulator is still in an early stage of development and at only supports VGA resolution, but is still worth checking out if you have a device the emulator supports.

Trelew (Chubut) from Argentina informed us about his website on home computers. His Spanish website is an online homecomputer museum, with pictures of and information on various Amiga, Amstrad, Atari, Commodore, MSX, Sinclair Spectrum and Texas Instruments home computers.

The MSX teams behind openMSX, Team Bomba, Sunrise and MSX Resource Center have decided to cooperate and make Bussum 2006 MSX a GFX9

On May 3rd, 2006 we published a previously unreleased version of the introdemo of X-Tazy, followed by an XViD video of the same introdemo by the end of June.

bgMSX - How many MSX songs do you know?

bgMSX, a site dedicated to MSX music, has just opened a new section where you can evaluate your knowledge of MSX music. The system determines what MSX songs are the most popular amongst users based on the number of hits. Moreover, the level of difficulty is adjustable and is based on the previous results obtained.

Last weekend MSX Vriendenclub Mariënberg held an MSX user meeting and a barbeque in Mariënberg, the Netherlands. We have just added a small photo shoot, taken by Sjoerd and Age Lammertsma, to our MSX photo shoots section.

RetroPC have attended the Comiket 70 fair where the new One Chip MSX was first demonstrated.
