If you visited the MSX fair in Nijmegen, last weekend, you may have seen LaserDisc support being demonstrated at the openMSX booth. Also, if you follow the dev-versions (developer versions between official releases) you may even have tried it yourself already. Vampier, from recent game video fame, has created a video in which he demonstrates this new feature.

Last weekend the Nijmegen 2010 fair took place. This time it was an international event, with standholders from France and Finland.

The first Nijmegen photoshoot is a fact, and without doubt videoshoots will appear later this week. MSX Posse has uploaded no less than 44 pictures taken at yesterday's MSX fair, giving a good impression of the atmosphere. If you weren't able to visit the fair, see what you may have missed!

While Nijmegen visitors are sound asleep, Vampier uploaded a new game video: Ancient Ys Vanished Omen (aka Ys 1). The game itself doesn't need much of an introduction of course. A large franchise of RPG's by Falcom, one which gained recognition for the strong background music, back in its days.

Some time ago translations for Goemon and Woody Poco were released. Goemon - being MSX Translations' first release - didn't feature a Turbo mode. But now that feature has been added. SD Snatcher video

Certainly one of the best MSX games, maybe even the best one. There has been a complete SD Snatcher video on youtube for over two years already, but obviously with 2007 quality. Vampier, one of the few MSX game video providers at this moment, has just finished uploading the final part of his own SD Snatcher video.
