Today, 2 MSX related IRC chat channels were opened on the IRC-Hispano network. After a time of absense, the #msx channel on the network has been re-opened, while a new, development related channel, #msxdev, has been opened on the IRC-Hispano network network as well.

fMSX32, the MSX emulator for Gamepark GP32 has been updated. fMSX32 developer rlyeh has released a preview version of the version he is to release on 'f-day', a day on which he will release many different emulators for GP32 at once.

On Hackurl's website an MSX-PSG rearrangement of the PC Engine version of Falcom/Hudson's YS1-2 boss BGM 'Holders of Power' can be found.

A new release of the MSX-compatible BIOS is now available. These are the changes:

  • Fixed RuMSX configuration files, thanks to Rudolf Lechleitner
  • Rewrote ROM search code; now all ROMs are recognized.

Almost a year ago, Low_profile released a rearrangement of the Dragonslayer 6 (Legend of heroes) World theme song.

Both MSX emulators for the Sony PSP handheld have been updated.

AurorA launches new website

AurorA is a well known MSX softwaregroup in the Dutch MSX scene. In the late 90s, they created games such as Ruby&Jade and Exor. Due to several circumstances (probably women), their activities lowered over the years.

Up until now, though! AurorA have just launched their new website and fresh games are in development.
