After celebrating it's 50th birthday on June 1st, Namco was awarded for it's entrance in the Guinnes Book of World records. Pac-Man is listed as the "most successful coin operated game" in history.

The April issue of UK based Retro Gamer magazine talks about MSX. Their web page reads: "This month we head up a jam-packed issue with an in-depth look into the world of the chameleon gaming system that was the MSX, revealing Microsoft's true roots in gaming".

BOMBMAN enters MSXdev'05

Andrea Gasparini has sent a new game to MSXdev'05: BOMBMAN, an arcade game in which you have to destroy all the bombs within a maze before the time runs out. If not, the tremendous explosion will kill you. This simple game concept was programmed in MSX-BASIC and then converted to ROM.

Last night the Shirts Y'all Challenge was closed. Or was it? It soon turned out there was at least one cheater in the top 4 of the Top 25.

It's the first of the month, so lets have a look at which files have been downloaded the most during May 2005.

After the AAMSX report and photoshoot and the MRC/SPL photoshoot of the 27th MSX User meeting in Barcelona, which was held on May 14th, Paxanga now brings a second report and third photoshoot of the day.

Another Brazilian site with maps of MSX games has moved to the domain.
