MSX-AUDIO BIOS for Philips Music Module

FRS has released a new BIOS for the Philips Music Module at MSXPró. By using this BIOS the Philips Music Module becomes MSX-AUDIO compatible, allowing you to play any BASIC music written for the MSX-Music just by changing the CALL MUSIC command to CALL AUDIO.

Yesterday, the first copies of ASCII MSX Magazine 3 hit the streets, while the first pre-ordered copies arrived at the homes of their new owners. On the MSX Laboratory Blog you can find a picture of the webmaster of this blog holding the magazine, giving a close look at the cover of the magazine.

A new utility by the name of Slot View 1 has been released by MarMSX. This utility visualizes all 16 primary slot pages and 64 pages between the primary and all secondary slots.

The program is designed to work on any MSX computer.

The MSX World 2005 fair, which was announced a week ago is starting to get more and more shape.

On June 30th, Falcom is to release a new game in the YS series, of which 3 episodes were released on MSX.

Today, Amusement Center added Telenet's shooter Final Zone Wolf to the collection of Project EGG.

DRM released a new track called Sunday Papa in MP3 and MGS format on his DrMSX Soundwork website. The song was composed on MSX and uses the PSG, OPLL and SCC soundchips.

Boukichi released a tool which converts binary files to .CAS files. The tool has been created for fun and research purposes, but can be used in cross-development as well.
