On May 20th, ASCII started taking pre-orders on the new One Chip MSX. Within a week, 1000 devices were pre-ordered. It took almost 2 months before the 2000 milestone was reached.

On May 20th, ASCII opened up their Japanese One Chip MSX pre-order page and started taking orders on the new MSX computer from Japanese MSX fans.

David Heremans has released a TCL script with which the Vdrive feature of blueMSX can be mimiced in openMSX.

With the vDrive feature you can select multiple disk images to be used in the emulator and then switch between them during emulation using a hotkey.

Paradum Games have released a single-level 3D remake of Software Projects's Manic Miner, demonstrating their 'Nudge 2' engine in action.

The two Japanese chiptune composers Hackurl and Daria have both released arranged versions of the Sega Saturn game 'Thunder Force V'. Daria also released an MSX-style arrangement from the arcade game Battle Garegga.
