The New Image has just released version 0.9990 of their Gameboy emulator. This emulator is aimed at the MSX turboR, although it works on MSX2 as well, and uses dynamic recompilation in order to run Gameboy games with acceptable speed.

NIPONIA, a video games shop located in the coastal tourist town of Lloret de Mar, Spain, has just opened a website where you can buy MSX software and hardware at interesting prices.

The website dedicated to game music made for MSX, bgMSX, has added music from the game Burai, from RiverhillSoft Inc., to its database of now almost 1700 songs.

Last week, the Nekocan@mac website released a new version of the NekoLauncher for openMSX, fit for the latest release of openMSX 0.6.2.

A new web has gone airborne! One could see this website as a bit of a companion to MSX solutions, as it features walkthroughs but of Japanese games. At the moment it's in Spanish language only, perhaps in the future an English version will appear however. The first games reviewed are Psy-O-Blade, Jesus, Rune Worth and Kubikiri Yakata.

In 1998, the company "Forte II Games" made a very small MSX board for arcade machines, using a modified bios/game. It was assumed lost until today when Alexandre Souza of Tabajara Labs found a working piece. The ROM code was extracted and made to work in BlueMSX.
