Nijmegen 2011 - Registration opened

A month ago, Manuel Bilderbeek announced the annual MSX fair in Nijmegen is to be held on the 22nd of January, 2011. Will it be as well-visited as 2010? Will there once again be foreign visitors?

Today, aorante released the first public version of the new sequencer PSGed. The utility allows you to play around with the PSG registers in a nice GUI and offers a simlpe pattern editor and a sequencer, in which you can use 16 different patterns in 32 steps.

Soon after the release of Mission2Mir 1.2 it became clear that not all bugs in the game had been fixed. Today, a new version of this entry to the MSXdev competition was published, fixing a nasty display bug.

An updated version of Mission2Mir, the fourth entry to the MSXdev'10 competition has been released. This update fixes a bug which caused enemies to appear out of reach of the player.

A week ago TNI released a new version of COMMAND2.COM which included a lot of new features. Since it release, TNI noticed that not all updated help files were packaged in the new release. An updated version that fixes this issue is now available for download.

In 2008 Django made a partial translation of the strategy simulation game Master of Monsters.

Today, MSXblue have released both a Spanish and a French translation of the shoot'em up game Aleste, originally released in 1988 by Compile.
