C-BIOS 0.24
A new version of C-BIOS was released today. New in this version, apart from fixing the usual minor niggles:
- VRAM size is now properly checked, fixing R-Type's V9938 detection
- C-BIOS doesn't lie anymore about the interrupt frequency
- Don't di; halt when no ROM is found, the warning in openMSX may be confusing
Pengo gameplay video
A few days ago, we reported about the playable Pengo MSX2 Demo, which lets you play two levels. Today, Paxanga updated their website with a new gameplay video. The video contains four levels and gives you a very good impression about the development.
MIDI-PAC Sample Music
The development of the MIDI-Pac is going well according to SuperSoniqs.
On June 19th, Kralizec will release their new game: The Goonies 'R' Good Enough. Compared to Konami's title, this version is a more accurate adaption of the well known movie from 1985. This new Kralizec game will be on sale at the 37th MSX users meeting in Barcelona.
msxDS 0.83
msxDS, is an MSX emulator for Nintendo DS and DS Lite, which is based on fmsxDS v.0.07 by Nyagosu. msxDS supports MSX/MSX2 and MSX2+ emulation. Today Popolon released an update for msxDS. New in this version:
- Fixed a bug in the management of background color for screen 0 mode
- Added tape emulation.

BlueMSXBox v4
BlueMSXBox is a BlueMSX Emulator port for XBox which has been made by Xport/Madmab Edition Projects. Like fMSXbox, this emulator makes it possible to play MSX games on a Microsoft XBox console. New in this version:
- New feature "Seconds before playing movie" determines how long the emulator will wait before playing a movie. The default is half a second. This will help speed up rom browsing.
blueMSX Launcher 1.9
Developer Sam Elsharif has released a new version of this front-end for blueMSX as well for OpenMSX.
Brazilian map maker only_69 strikes again with another mapped game after a period of silence. This time only_69 mapped the shoot'em up game Monster's Fair, which was released by Toho in 1986.
CheatMSX updated
After a period of silence, CheatMSX was updated with the following changes:
- two walkthroughs for Dragonslayer Jr.
