Yesterday an MSX meeting was held in Brazil: MSXRio 2009. To get an impression of this fair, for instance to see how the VSU is progressing, there are currently 36 photos online, waiting to be checked out!

One of the regular MSXart contributors is Lars the 18th. He has submitted a new entry for this neverending competition on Passion MSX: Rambo. On MSX, there have been three games based on this silent yet lethal and muscled Vietnam veteran.

Bussum, one of two yearly Dutch MSX fairs, is no more. Main organizer Laurens Holst has decided that, following his declining MSX activity, the Bussum era is over.

The MSXRio user group invites everyone to visit MSXRio 2009, their annual meeting of MSX users living in or around Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). This this year, they decided to have several smaller gatherings rather than a big meeting. The first one will be next Saturday, July 25, 2009. The location for this event: SESC Engenho de Dentro: Avenida Amaro Cavalcanti, 1661 - Engenho de Dentro.

Last weekend, the LCP 2009 party was held in Malmö, Sweden. While this party is primarily an Amiga/C64-affair, there is space for other systems as well, in the so called 'other' competitions.
