During the 70th Comic Market in Tokyo, not only the return of the One Chip MSX was announced. The Japanese Rabbit Soft Workers, known from Gunnerhip 2on2, also announced a new game they are working on called Target Area.

openMSX universal binary for Mac OS X

BouKiCHi made a universal binary of openMSX 0.6.1. Now Intel Mac users can run openMSX with maximum performance without having to compile it themselves. This universal Mac OS X binary follows the release of openMSX 0.6.1, a bit more than a week ago.

Edson Pereira Sucochip has put the pictures he took on MSXRio 2006, which was held last weekend, on Yahoo! Photos.

After revealing the endboss BGM a week ago, RenovatiO has released two other songs from the upcoming Space Manbow fangame/sequel Space Manbow 2 on the MSX game music website bgMSX.

Thread engine for MSX

Marcel Delorme has sent us the complete source code to a thread engine for MSX he recently developed. The thread engine allows developers to create multiple threads running on the MSX simultaneously, which could be interesting for people developing a GUI/OS.
